At Five Oaks Church, we belive the Bible does not need to be a mystery. We want to help people understand the Story of God and live out their purpose in that story. We value Bible teaching and we are committed to providing a framework for understanding the Bible and helping our people develop a biblical worldview. We value connectedness and we want every person who walks into our building to feel like they were expected and we are excited to see them. We value spiritual formation and we invite people into practices and experiences meant to shape them to be more like Jesus!

Program overview
The pastoral residency program exists to fulfill our mission of making disciples who make disciples, by making pastors who make pastors. Embedded into our church culture is leadership development. We believe God has prepared our church to engage in multiplying pastors to send them as healthy, prepared leaders into long-term vocational ministry. This residency is a hands-on experience that uses real-life pastoral responsibilities as the foundation for development and continued discipleship. We are a church that values development, fun, and collaboration, and that it's more than a job. And you can point to stories where see this lived out regularly!
