The King's Church

Introduction
The King's Church exists to see a greater worship of Jesus through declaring and displaying the gospel. We are a growing church plant marked by the core values of fighting to show up, finding beauty in the ordinary, faithfully pursuing meaningful conversations, and following Jesus as he builds his church. We feel called to a few missional areas of emphasis: church planting, orphan care, and the flourishing of the city. Leadership and pastoral development have been a critical part of our story, and we are heavily invested in and raising up future pastors and potential church planters.

Program overview
Our residency program is designed to disciple, develop, and deploy healthy pastors who are equipped to minister for the health and growth of the church and the flourishing of the communities they will serve. We desire to equip the next generation of pastors who are serious about gospel doctrine and who embody a gospel culture in their shepherding, leadership, evangelism, and oversight. Our three-year pastoral residency will aim at forming healthy habits, instincts, virtues, and skills prepared to meet the complex ministry needs of our day. Though not exclusively a church planting residency, our hope is that the majority of our residents will be pursuing church planting.
