The Local Church
Introduction
The Local Church (we call it TLC) is a multiplying church helping the next generation fall in love with Jesus to create better futures. We are passionate about raising up leaders to reach the next generation within our church and through church planting in culture-creating cities. We are part of Water's Edge Network and are looking for leaders to be trained in a residency that is intentional about practical learning and application through ministry/skill/character competencies, real ministry responsibly, and supportive mentorship. Located in the growing city limits of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Program overview
Our Residency program seeks to be the bridge to transition from the academic world into real, hands-on ministry. It gives real leadership and responsibility in a ministry context paired with coaching and mentorship that prepares students to be launched into a vocation of ministry. This is a full-time paid position with benefits, and provides a wide range of potential ministry opportunities suited to each Resident's gifts, abilities, and eventual ministry focus, with multiple opportunities for mentorship available.
